The process for my art often starts after a mistake. Sometimes misplaced brush strokes can lead you on an adventure and challenge you, transitioning to new colors or shapes. I accomplish this with bright bold colors that don’t always complement each other. Mixing acrylic colors with water leads to unpredictable movement with paint. Sometimes change begins with a simple stroke. Tucson is the perfect environment to be creative, one must only look to the mountains or traditional Mexican folk art to be inspired. This process, mixed with my love for political propaganda art, may evolve to multiple inspirations and layers within one painting. 

 

My art has been placed and sold in local cafes and resorts in Tucson.
